The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has released its annual list of “Top Safety Picks” for 2024.
In the sections below, we will review the Top 10 Safest Cars identified through IIHS research and offer information on what to do after being injured in a California motor vehicle collision.

The 2024 Toyota Prius comes in three trims: LE, XLE, and Limited . Each model has a hybrid drivetrain that combines a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor, producing 194 horsepower.
