Charles Rondeau has been practicing law for more than 25 years. For the last 18 of them, his practice has been concentrated in workers’ compensation related litigation. Mr. Rondeau has represented injured workers and medical providers before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. In recent years, he has represented medical and other services providers in civil and administration litigation. Mr. Rondeau has also successfully tried numerous civil and criminal cases to verdict and has recently resumed representation of plaintiffs in personal injury and labor and employment matters.
Mr. Rondeau is a graduate of Columbia College and of Southwestern University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in California, New York and New Jersey, and is licensed to appear before the United State Supreme Court, several federal circuit Courts of Appeal and numerous federal District Courts. Mr. Rondeau is the former Chairperson of the Workers’ Compensation Advisory Law Commission of the State Bar of California and is a proud member of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (“CAAA”), the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (“CAALA”), the Consumer Attorneys of California (“CAOC”) and the California Employment Lawyers Association (“CELA”). Mr. Rondeau has the honor and privilege of arguing some of the most important recent workers’ compensation cases before the California Supreme Court, including Valdez v. Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board in 2013 and in State Compensation Insurance Fund v. Workers’ Compensation Insurance Fund (Sandhagen) in 2008. Mr. Rondeau has also had the honor and privilege of arguing before several District Courts of Appeal and has numerous published appellate decisions.
