Stephen Nathanial Risdon Arrested for Child Sexual Abuse

August 21, 2024: Glendale Police Department detectives arrested Stephen Nathanial Risdon on suspicion of three counts of lewd acts with a minor, according to a news release.

Glendale Police cited multiple incidents occurring in 2015 and 2016 which allegedly involved three elementary-school-aged minors.

Authorities confirmed Tuesday that Stephen Risdon is currently in custody for the child sex crimes charges. The Glendale Police Department is actively searching for any additional victims who may have been abused by Risdon.

The suspect is also known by the name “Nate” or “Nathan,” according to Glendale Police.

  Marcello Tagliente, the owner and operator of a local Glendale insurance training school – MGT Insurance – was arrested for alleged sexual battery of his students. Police alleged Tagliente lured insurance students into his office under the guise of assisting them with exam preparations.
• September 2022: Man Allegedly Sexually Assaults Boy at Yum Yum Donuts
  Farid Lalezarzadeh of Glendale was identified as the suspect in a child sexual assault incident at Yum Yum Donuts, located in the 600 block of W. Glenoaks Blvd. Glendale Police stated that a boy and his family were reportedly placing an order, and as the family was paying for their breakfast at the counter, Lalezarzadeh “walked behind the victim and pinched him on the buttocks.”
• February 2021: Teacher Bret Mohr Accused of Sexually Molesting Students
  Brett Mohr, a longtime Glendale Adventist Academy teacher, was arrested in 2023 on allegations of molesting students. Mohr, then-52, was taken into custody after Los Angeles Police Department officials received allegations of his inappropriate conduct with students. The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office issued multiple felony charges against Mohr. Mohr began his tenure at the school in 1998.
• August 2018: Teacher Jacqueline Nicole Muller Accused of Having Sex with 14-Year-Old Student
  Jacqueline Nicole Muller, a teacher at Salem Lutheran School, was taken into custody by the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia on suspicion of first-degree child sexual abuse. Police accused Muller of having sex with a 14-year-old student during a school field trip to Washington D.C. Salem Lutheran School is reportedly a church and private school in Glendale for students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.
