A sexual assault that occurred Monday in southwest Bakersfield, California, has led police to release surveillance images of a man wanted in connection with the incident. According to police, as the adult victim was walking in the area, the suspect approached and committed a sexual assault.
Police confirmed the incident happened around 10 p.m. in the 4600 block of Wilson Road, south of Ming Avenue and east of New Stine Road.
The suspect is described as a 25 to 35-year-old Black male, unshaven, with braided hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt with blue writing, blue pants, and black shoes.

Additionally, police released images of the suspect’s vehicle – a black four-door sedan, possibly a Chevy Malibu, with rear window tint, rear driver side damage, missing rear bumper, and a spare tire on the front passenger side.
