Pastor Jose Alcides Vasquez Arrested for Sexually Assaulting Multiple Girls

Ontario police have announced the arrest of a local pastor – Jose Alcides Vasquez – who is suspected of sexually assaulting multiple female juvenile victims at his former residence in Ontario.

Jose Vasquez, 47, a resident of Menifee, was identified as the sexual assault suspect after an Ontario Police School Resource Officer (SRO) was notified by a high school administrator that a minor female student alleged a neighbor had sexually molested her.

The alleged sexual assault survivor came forward in August 2021. Police continued their ongoing investigation into Jose Vasquez for several years. In July 2024, another victim came forward with sexual assault allegations against Vasquez, and detectives were able to obtain additional evidence which reportedly further incriminated him.

On September 5, 2024, Ontario Police Officers arrested Jose Vasquez at his Menifee home. He was booked at the West Valley Detention Center on several sex crimes felony charges.

Jose Vasquez most recently served as the head pastor at Camino De Santidad Church in Menifee, California. Throughout the years, he has worked with a number of churches around the Inland Empire, serving as a pastor and volunteer until his arrest last week.

Given Jose Alcides Vasquez’s history of working at various Inland Empire churches and his access to children, detectives are urging anyone with information about a possible sexual assault to immediately contact the Ontario Police Department.

Sometimes workers comp cases can drag on. Samuel was there every step of the way with superior knowledge and intellect. What struck me was the kindness I found in him.
