San Dimas Chiropractor Richard Carnow Accused of Sexually Assaulting Multiple Women

A Southern California chiropractor has been arrested for sexual assaulting multiple women.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that Richard Carnow, 65, was taken into custody on March 13 on four felony counts of sexual battery.

Sheriff’s department officials are seeking additional victims after multiple women came forward with allegations of sexual assault against the San Gabriel Valley chiropractor. L.A. County Sheriff’s representatives indicated that the sex crimes allegedly committed by Richard Carnow took place between June 2023 and August 2023.

Officials did not confirm whether the alleged victims were either current or former patients. LASD authorities did note, however, that given the nature of the alleged crimes, they believe there may be additional survivors. Sheriff’s officials are requesting the public’s assistance in helping to identify any more sexual assault victims of chiropractor Richard Carnow.

Carnow was released from custody after posting bond. His bail was set at $100,000. Los Angeles Sheriff’s officials have indicated that Carnow’s next court date is set for April 15.

2^nd Southern California Chiropractor Arrested for Sexual Assault

Two former female clients came forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against Gomez, an Oxford resident, and he was subsequently charged with three felony counts of sexual battery.

Ventura County prosecutors also filed special allegations against Gomez, claiming that he took advantage of his position of trust as a chiropractor. If convicted in criminal court, Gomez could receive a longer prison sentence as a result of said charges.
